西园一曲艳阳歌，扰扰车尘负薜萝。
译文：在西园听一曲艳阳之歌，京城扰扰车尘让人深负隐逸之志。
注释：西园：泛指，未必与曹植兄弟及邺中诸子同游之“西园”。艳阳歌：犹《阳春》曲。一说泛指春之歌。薜萝：薜荔和女萝，喻指隐士之服。负薜萝，即怀有隐逸之志。
自欲放怀犹未得，不知经世竟如何？
译文：虽然想要放宽心怀但难以遂愿，而经世的愿望也不知究竟能否实现。
注释：放怀：开怀，放宽心怀。经世：治理国事。
夜闻猛雨判花尽，寒恋重衾觉梦多。
译文：听到夜雨强劲而势猛，预示且判定着花残落尽，春夜寒冷夜晚更长，贪恋重衾觉得梦多。
注释：判：判断，断定。俗作“拚”。衾：被子。一作“裘”。
钓渚别来应更好，春风还为起微波。
译文：想别后钓渚春色应该比以前更好，春风在水面吹起微波。
注释：钓渚：当指作者鄠杜郊居旁的垂钓处。

温庭筠（约812—866）唐代诗人、词人。本名岐，字飞卿，太原祁（今山西祁县东南）人。富有天才，文思敏捷，每入试，押官韵，八叉手而成八韵，所以也有“温八叉”之称。然恃才不羁，又好讥刺权贵，多犯忌讳，取憎于时，故屡举进士不第，长被贬抑，终生不得志。官终国子助教。精通音律。工诗，与李商隐齐名，时称“温李”。其诗辞藻华丽，秾艳精致，内容多写闺情。其词艺术成就在晚唐诸词人之上，为“花间派”首要词人，对词的发展影响较大。在词史上，与韦庄齐名，并称“温韦”。存词七十余首。后人辑有《温飞卿集》及《金奁集》。
