《秋风函谷应诏》翻译及注释

唐代：徐惠
秋风起函谷，劲气动河山。
译文：秋风从函谷关吹起，凌冽的寒气惊动了河山。
注释：函谷：关名，古关在今河南灵宝县东北。劲气：《初学记》中又作“朔气”，凛冽的寒气。
偃松千岭上，杂雨二陵间。
译文：偃松生长在千山万岭之上，杂雨飘落在南陵北陵之间。
注释：偃松：常绿小乔木，分枝很多，大枝伏在地面上，末端斜面向上，针状叶，雄花黄色，雌花紫色，球果紫褐色，种子略呈卵形。二陵：在崤山（今河南洛宁县北，西接陕县界，东接渑池县界）有两山，相距三十五里，又称二陵，南陵传为夏桀的祖父夏后皋之墓，北陵为周文王避风雨之处。
低云愁广隰，落日惨重关。
译文：愁云惨淡地压在广阔的低谷，落日斜照着雄关一派黯淡。
注释：隰：低湿的地方。
此时飘紫气，应验真人还。
译文：此时山间飘起了紫气，应是验证了真人回还。
注释：紫气：传说老子西游，函谷关令尹喜见有紫气东来，知有圣人将要过关，果然老子骑着青牛来了，尹喜便请他写下了《道德经》。

徐惠（公元627年―公元650年），湖州长城人（今长兴人)，唐太宗李世民的妃嫔。生于贞观元年（公元627年）。年少时便才华出众。唐太宗听说后，将她纳为才人。后被封为婕妤，接着又升为充容。贞观末年，唐太宗频起征伐、广修宫殿。徐惠上疏极谏，剖析常年征伐、大兴土木之害。唐太宗认可了她的看法并对她厚加赏赐。贞观二十三年（公元649年），唐太宗驾崩，徐惠哀慕成疾，不肯服药，又作七言诗和连珠以示爱慕。永徽元年（公元650年）病逝，年仅二十四，被追封贤妃，陪葬昭陵石室。
