我们在做贺卡前先准备一下所需物品，剪刀、胶水、彩色纸、铅笔、橡皮、尺子硬卡纸。
我们先把纸裁成1515的正方形，我准备了四种颜色的纸，所以每种颜色的是都要裁成1515的正方形。
我们把裁好的正方形对整齐折成四下，变成小的正方形，我们在把正方形的两个角，两边折折成一个三角形，
我们再在折好的三角形中，画上一个花瓣一角的图案，用剪刀剪剪掉与部分，打开就是一个花的形状，再把每种颜色都这样剪一下。
我们拿到一个建好的花朵，减去一个花瓣的一角，再减掉一个花瓣，我们用胶水把它沾上，就成一朵一朵的画了。那现在我们把每个颜色的都弄一下吧！
我们把剪好又粘好的画放在一起看一下是不是一样大，不一样大在修剪一下。我们先拿一个弄好的花瓣，把画有圆圈的地方图上胶水，并拿另一个花瓣和它沾上，右边弄好了，左边也是一样的。
我们再在涂有圆圈的两个点上涂上胶水，再拿另一种颜色的纸做的花瓣和它沾上。
我们再在画有圆点的四个点上涂上胶水，并拿不同的颜色的两个花瓣和它粘在一起。
弄好后，我们再在画有圆圈的地方图上胶水，并用花瓣对其沾上。我们弄好后，我们打开看一下，看一下七朵花是不是都能打开。
我们在把准备好的硬卡纸对折折成书本形状，再把我们刚才做好的七朵花，在涂有圆点的地方涂上胶水，（正反面都一样，都要涂油胶水）粘在硬卡纸合适的位置上。
我们来开一下做好的贺卡，我们打开后七朵花就都开了。我们可以在其它地方再画一些画，我们可以再加上一些祝福语，这样精美的贺卡就做好了。
小学生新年贺卡英语版格式如下：
1、称呼指送卡人对受贺人的称呼，一般写在卡片的左上方，称呼前可加可不加“to”，如To my dear friendTo Mr and Mrs Black。
2、贺词一般写些固定的贺词用语。如Happy new year cards。
例句：这些是我刚收到的新年贺卡。Here are the New Year cards I have just received
3、写上想说的话，可以是“merry christmas and happy new year！”
4、祝贺人的签名写在贺卡的右下方。
