暮春黄昏雨过天晴，云彩聚拢斜阳西沉。
茂密山林空气清新，山峰隐没半轮红日。
霖雨不息厌倦不止，身在旅馆眺望郊外。
水边兰草渐披小路，娇艳莲花初绽春池。
尚未满足大好春光，已经看到夏的临近。
节序更迭令我忧叹，点点白发两鬓边垂。
笙歌饮食情有所止，身衰老病倏忽而至。
我将等待秋水降临，息我形影旧居山崖。
我的心志谁能理解？唯有良友知我心意。
注释
1.南亭：地名，离永嘉郡治（今温州市）一里左右。
2.时竟：季末，此指春末夏初。
3.澄霁（chéng jì）：阵雨过后，天地碧澄清朗。
4.云归：乌云散开消失，指雨过天晴。曹子建诗：“朝云不归山，霖雨成川泽。”
5.余清：雨后留下的清凉。
6.半规：半圆形，指落山时隐没一半的太阳。张载《岁夕诗》：“白日随天回，皎皎圆如规。”
7.痗（mèi）：病，这里引申为厌恶义。
8.昏垫：潮湿昏暗。永嘉临海，地势低洼，阴雨连绵，故用“昏垫”形容。
9.旅馆：客舍。
10.眺（tiào）郊歧（qí）：远望郊外的岔路。
11.泽兰：鲜活润亮的兰草。
12.渐被径：慢慢地覆盖了小路。
13.始发：刚开放。
14.厌：满足，充分享受。
15.青春好：春天的美好景色。
16.睹：看见。
17.朱明：本指太阳，借指夏天。《尔雅》：“夏为朱明。”

游南亭创作背景
景平元年（423）夏天，诗人感景物变换，忧恩催老，决计待秋水到来时乘舟归隐。游经“南亭”时触景生情，于是写了这首诗。

游南亭鉴赏
首先是盘旋层折的诗歌结构，诗写幽愤之思，但起笔四句却先勾勒了一派清澄之景。然后，“久晦”、“旅馆”两句逆笔补出身在谪宦羁旅的处境，时逢久雨阴霾的黄梅，心境正如陷溺于霭霖之中，久已昏昏沉沉的了。于是可见起处所写偶一眺临所见的清景之中，实隐含有诗人企图摆脱烦闷的企望。清景使诗人神思为之一爽，但是潜在的幽愤是如此的难以解脱。
为清景引动，诗人漫步郊垌，其本意当是希望进一步让大自然澄明的灏气，为他澡雪精神，但是一路行来，见到淫雨之前泽畔方生方长的兰草，已经繁茂而向老；而当时仅是一望绿叶的池塘中，荷花也初绽红红白白的朵营。这美景在他人或会感到悦目赏心，但对诗人却适足以勾动其幽愤的潜意识，于是顿生春夏叠代之感，更由“物”移而触发“人”老之叹，于是潜在的幽愤转为强烈的悲歌。药饵，“药”当作“乐”，反用《老子》“乐与饵，过客止”之语，当时的声歌食饮，尽属虚妄；而真实的唯有那倏焉而来的老病而已。
那末人生应当怎样才对呢？只有乘即将而来的秋水，归隐家乡，这种真正的赏心乐事，恐只有二三知己才能领会吧。那末这赏心乐事的内含究竟为何呢？“秋水”用《庄子·秋水》事，《秋水》篇主旨在于“无以人灭天，无以故灭命，无以得殉名，谨守而勿失，是谓返其真”，原来泯去物我，是非的界限，忘掉一切的是非得失，甚至忘掉自己的天赋禀受，皈依自然，才是根本的出路。但是谢客是否真能忘情，得从此诗的意脉看，这只是一种企望强自从幽愤中挣脱的高言快论；从他的行事看，虽然几度归隐，但却未能如陶潜那样在自然中终其天年，终于在四十九岁时，吟唱着“恨我君子志；不获岩上眠”的感愤之句，被砍下了脑袋。
企图借游程中的自然清景以排解幽愤，而解不去，吟还愁，反将幽愤潜注于景物之中，这种反复曲折的情思，即使谢客的幽愤表现得看似清逸，实则更为深重；又使他诗作的结构表现出前所未有的复杂而多层次，奇景迭出，转转入深，确实到了“一重一掩皆肺腑”的境地，而他更善于营构，通过顿柬、离合，顺逆的安排使诸多的景物移步换形圆融一体。而情思一以贯之。如此诗起首之“时竞”（春尽），中腰之“朱明移”，篇末之“秋水”，思绪依节候的顺次，虚实相同地展开，却以“久痞”一联，“戚戚一一联作顿束收放，依其感情的变化，出现一幅幅不同色调的画面，达到情景理交融的境地。王夫之《薹斋诗话》评谢诗，“以意为主，势次之，势者，意中之神理也。唯康乐为能取势，宛转屈伸以求尽其意……天矫连蜷，烟云缭绕，乃真龙，非画龙也。”此评正道出了谢诗以幽愤的情思为内含，运调景物，曲屈以达其意的特点，这与陶潜诗结构之如行云流水大异其趣。
与结构相应，此诗的意象也与陶诗异趣。陶诗语言天成，所构成的诗歌意象较单纯而韵味醇厚，而谢诗则“造语极奇险深曲，却皆稳老而不伤巧。一，其意象层次多隽秀耐咀。试以与此诗前四句景物相近的陶潜《杂诗》二之前四句作一比较，陶诗云：“白日沦西阿，素月出东岭；遥遥万里辉，荡荡空中景。”这四句每句五字都是一个层次，且三、四承一、二，很自然地勾勒出一个银辉满空，启人远思的景象。谢诗则不然：“时竟夕澄霁，云归日西驰。密林含余清，远峰隐半规。”同样每句五字：而前二句每句是两个层次：时竟、夕澄霁；云归，月西驰。以下三句“含余清”承一句“夕澄霁”；四句“隐半规”则承二句“日西驰”，又分别拈入了密林，远峰二物，组成了新的景象。前两句从大背景落墨，富于动态美，后二句更从细部勾勒，近处是密林余清，较远处是青山落日，则与一、二句共同构成三个大层次的画面搭配，而“密林”之与“余清”，“远峰”之与“半规”本身又有各自的层次，再缀以一个“含”字，一个“隐”字，遂在季节交替，晴雨变化，昼夜叠代的动景中酿蘖出一种清澄恬美的静景来。这层迭的景象正体现了诗人由“昏垫”中苏生的复杂心境。
与观察的细密，锤词的精严，选景的密致相应，谢诗语言的又一特色是使用语典的工巧。“泽兰披径路”以下四句分用楚辞“皋兰披径兮斯路渐”；“芙蓉始发，杂芰荷兮”；“青春受谢，白日昭只”；“朱明承夜兮时不见淹”四语，不仅与即目之景相切相符，而且隐含“目极千里伤春心，魂兮归来哀江南”之意，透出归隐之想，以下更用《庄子》“秋水”之典，既承“朱明”而预示归期，更如前所析表示要从伤感中超脱达到忘我之精神升华。数典连用，一气呵成，含义深长，遂使诗歌意象于精致之外更显出一种典雅的美来。所谓“奇险深曲”，而“稳老不伤巧”，于兹可见一斑。

谢灵运（385年－433年），东晋陈郡阳夏（今河南太康）人，出生在会稽始宁（今浙江上虞），原为陈郡谢氏士族。东晋名将谢玄之孙，小名“客”，人称谢客。又以袭封康乐公，称谢康公、谢康乐。著名山水诗人，主要创作活动在刘宋时代，中国文学史上山水诗派的开创者。由谢灵运始，山水诗乃成中国文学史上的一大流派，最著名的是《山居赋》，也是见诸史册的第一位大旅行家。谢灵运还兼通史学，工于书法，翻译佛经，曾奉诏撰《晋书》。《隋书·经籍志》、《晋书》录有《谢灵运集》等14种。
