我惭不至滕王阁，子说曾登太白楼。闻言使我渺愁绝，何得当前懒即休。
北风一夜送南客，北客稍稍泊岸头。我今为子毁前作，子得不与我同游。
江山城郭非异物，且复登阁览一周。阁上金书作何语，人人秋水长天句。
阁下诸公尽有问，不脱珠帘画栋文。可怜韩退之，澹语不成用。
分明作者才，弃置无人诵。询吾云君谓不然，勃虽三尺已占先。

范当世（1854～1905)）字无错，号肯堂，因排行居一，号伯子。原名铸，字铜士。江苏通州（今南通市）人。清末文学家、诗文名家、桐城派后期作家，也是南通市近代教育的主要倡导者和奠基人之一。光绪时入李鸿章幕府，常相与谈论政事，自负甚高，而终身坎坷。诗多沉郁苍凉之作，著有《范伯子诗文集》。2008年4月16日，“南通范氏诗文世家陈列馆”开馆。
