炮火开，难民来，吴淞战舰乱云堆。谁为戎首实致此，真见黎庶罹奇灾。
妻子爷娘走离散，蓬头跣足狼狈哉。蛇行里巷动千百，呻吟老弱啼婴孩。
无食无衣但僵卧，室家行李天一涯。胡人高鼻不相恤，囊沙网铁横路隈。
亦有奔车出巨厦，顾盼意态殊巍巍。汝曹共尽初不料，自天飞弹焚千骸。
或资盗粮或为寇，心死直使肝肠摧。市廛强者半袖手，流亡载道行谁哀。
万众同仇出处异，事急豪富皆奸回。吁嗟乎，难民难民尔何辜，不为雄鬼争前驱，不为千金之子全其躯。

林庚白（1897～1941），原名学衡，字凌南，又字众难，自号摩登和尚，民国时期诗人、政治人物。1897年（另有1894年、1896年之说）生于福建省闽侯县螺洲镇（今福州市仓山区螺洲镇州尾村）。幼孤早慧，由其姐抚养长成。8岁便负笈北京，一生热心政治，曾加入京津同盟会，慨然有澄清天下之志。林庚白是南社著名诗人，有“诗怪”之称。创作诗文很多，先后编校《庚白诗存》、《庚白诗词集》，还著有《孑楼随笔》、《孑楼诗词话》等等，为南社健将。
