黄山蜿蜒广且高，气势雄杰干层霄。天柱矗立地维峻，洪流震撼声滔滔。
长江要塞森壁垒，鹅峰险隘如锁口。纵横洲渚群山连，巨炮狞人骇欲走。
甲子乙丑战衅开，天祸吾邑惟澄台。隆隆炮发如惊雷，哭声震野心肝摧。
狐鼠悲鸣野火碧，腥风沙捲玄黄血。云山愁惨天无光，洪杨以后此浩劫。
杨公儒将人中豪，从军卅载歌同袍。忠肝义胆作士气，兴酣下马能挥豪。
长江万里风不竞，遗大投艰作司令。极峰倚畀责匪轻，声威詟慄靖枭獍。
公之气骨龙凤翔，公之胸襟星斗藏。公之雄略坐帷幄，决胜有如张子房。
迩来倭奴寇东边，黑山白水交戈鋋。蓦然中原若鼎沸，杞人四顾空忧天。
公曰勿忧蛮触耳，犬羊岂足污吾刃。倚天长剑久低昂，誓殄鲸鲵泄吾愤。
况此澄台控制严，国防巩固戒备早。貔貅统率一千人，江干坐镇军容好。
惟公义侠朱郭俦，更兼壮志风云遒。饱储韬略富经济，拔山浩气横九州。
昨宵贤侯马伏波，东邀下走亦赐酺。我公雅量世无敌，酒酣相约醉百壶。
公之伯兄中书君，卅年前共登青云。春秋两度与同捷，惜哉未挹芝兰薰。
今兹草莽翔虬鸾，且喜菊花开未残。瞻韩御李慰群望，文通武达同胪欢。

字丹卿，号颜丞，出身望族，十九岁中秀才，光绪廿八年中举，翌年登进士。选为吏部文选主事。目睹清廷腐败，以祖母病乞归。任江阴劝学所所长，致力于地方教育和实业事业。大力发展城乡教育。辛亥革命参加同盟会，任分部部长。民国十三年，发起成立陶社，刊印江上诗钞、先哲遗书二十馀种。为传承与发展文化作出了贡献。沦陷时期，日伪威胁利诱，主持维持会，均遭其严词拒绝。民国廿八年卒。
