此日足可惜，此酒不足尝。舍酒去相语，共分一日光。
念昔未知子，孟君自南方。自矜有所得，言子有文章。
我名属相府，欲往不得行。思之不可见，百端在中肠。
维时月魄死，冬日朝在房。驱驰公事退，闻子适及城。
命车载之至，引坐于中堂。开怀听其说，往往副所望。
孔丘殁已远，仁义路久荒。纷纷百家起，诡怪相披猖。
长老守所闻，后生习为常。少知诚难得，纯粹古已亡。
譬彼植园木，有根易为长。留之不遣去，馆置城西旁。
岁时未云几，浩浩观湖江。众夫指之笑，谓我知不明。
儿童畏雷电，鱼鳖惊夜光。州家举进士，选试缪所当。
驰辞对我策，章句何炜煌。相公朝服立，工席歌鹿鸣。
礼终乐亦阕，相拜送于庭。之子去须臾，赫赫流盛名。
窃喜复窃叹，谅知有所成。人事安可恒，奄忽令我伤。
闻子高第日，正从相公丧。哀情逢吉语，惝恍难为双。
暮宿偃师西，徒展转在床。夜闻汴州乱，绕壁行彷徨。
我时留妻子，仓卒不及将。相见不复期，零落甘所丁。
骄儿未绝乳，念之不能忘。忽如在我所，耳若闻啼声。
中途安得返，一日不可更。俄有东来说，我家免罹殃。
乘船下汴水，东去趋彭城。从丧朝至洛，还走不及停。
假道经盟津，出入行涧冈。日西入军门，羸马颠且僵。
主人愿少留，延入陈壶觞。卑贱不敢辞，忽忽心如狂。
饮食岂知味，丝竹徒轰轰。平明脱身去，决若惊凫翔。
黄昏次汜水，欲过无舟航。号呼久乃至，夜济十里黄。
中流上滩潬，沙水不可详。惊波暗合沓，星宿争翻芒。
辕马蹢躅鸣，左右泣仆童。甲午憩时门，临泉窥斗龙。
东南出陈许，陂泽平茫茫。道边草木花，红紫相低昂。
百里不逢人，角角雄雉鸣。行行二月暮，乃及徐南疆。
下马步堤岸，上船拜吾兄。谁云经艰难，百口无夭殇。
仆射南阳公，宅我睢水阳。箧中有馀衣，盎中有馀粮。
闭门读书史，窗户忽已凉。日念子来游，子岂知我情。
别离未为久，辛苦多所经。对食每不饱，共言无倦听。
连延三十日，晨坐达五更。我友二三子，宦游在西京。
东野窥禹穴，李翱观涛江。萧条千万里，会合安可逢。
淮之水舒舒，楚山直丛丛。子又舍我去，我怀焉所穷。
男儿不再壮，百岁如风狂。高爵尚可求，无为守一乡。

韩愈（768～824）字退之，唐代文学家、哲学家、思想家，河阳（今河南省焦作孟州市）人，汉族。祖籍河北昌黎，世称韩昌黎。晚年任吏部侍郎，又称韩吏部。谥号“文”，又称韩文公。他与柳宗元同为唐代古文运动的倡导者，主张学习先秦两汉的散文语言，破骈为散，扩大文言文的表达功能。宋代苏轼称他“文起八代之衰”，明人推他为唐宋八大家之首，与柳宗元并称“韩柳”，有“文章巨公”和“百代文宗”之名，作品都收在《昌黎先生集》里。韩愈在思想上是中国“道统”观念的确立者，是尊儒反佛的里程碑式人物。
