吾友黄君字泽之，家住萧溪之水湄。萧溪之水，分自沙湖来，东流入海，北汇于溪，盘旋绕屋如争驰。
至正年间，如泽也，始谢仕，来居斯。便似庞公鹿门去，乃买溪上数亩之畬菑。
泽也身着袯襫衣，手把耒与犁。日出东作不自贱，日入归息浑忘疲。
健妇或饷食，稚子皆耘耔。嗟哉泽也虽劳劬，犹能不废诗与书。
新凉郊墟短檠火，躬与儿辈皆孜孜。嗟哉泽也又孝且慈，一家伏役心和怡。
西风禾黍秋离离，污邪满车不用祁。上足奉公赋，下足了其私。
打门并无吏索米，载酒唯有人问奇。泽也或冠华阳巾，或着白接䍦。
开口论今古，起坐皆礼仪。临流或作《秋水操》，登阜乃赋《归来辞》。
不求县官荐，不愿刺史知。初非如变名之梅福，又非似洁身之长沮。
但欲不素餐兮，效伐檀之君子。乐夫天命复奚疑，嗟哉泽也其如此。
盖将终老于耕矣，世上碌碌嗟何为！
