赤日下西谷，松门敛馀晖。萧萧征马鸣，客子来者谁。
故人田子方，六月并州归。崎岖千里道，问子来何为。

梧桐挂凉月，清润含裳衣。人生实萍梗，同附一渺瀰。
惊风或暂先，波定还相依。昔我在南兖，识君英妙时。
轩轩勇气节，凛凛如熊罴。声名固已早，时命殊淹迟。
今兹向魏阙，骥足将腾夷。圣君隆至治，谏诤求瑕玼。
尝闻至人语，子可补拾遗。一言开尧聪，四海风俗移。
无为外重失，蹇谔当自持。赠言古者事，吾岂忘前规。

释道潜，本名昙潜，号参寥子，赐号妙总大师。俗姓王，钱塘（今浙江杭州）人（《续骫骳说》）。一说姓何，于潜（今浙江临安西南）人（《咸淳临安志》卷七○）。幼即出家为僧，能文章，尤喜为诗。与苏轼、秦观友善，常有倡和。哲宗绍圣间，苏轼贬海南，道潜亦因诗获罪，责令还俗。徽宗建中靖国元年（一一○一），曾肇为之辩解，复为僧。崇宁末归老江湖。其徒法颖编有《参寥子诗集》十二卷，行于世。
