王庭珪（1079～1171）字民瞻，自号泸溪老人、泸溪真逸，吉州安福（今属江西）人。性伉厉，为诗雄浑。乾道八年（1172）病逝，终年92岁，去世后葬于安福县山庄乡下沙村长甫村后山腰，胡铨撰写墓志铭碑。王庭珪是两宋之交的重要诗人。他个性刚直，辞官归隐，曾因诗送胡铨而被贬辰州。靖康之变而后他表现出对国家忧患和民生疾苦的极大关注，有着强烈的爱国情感，诗文词创作都取得了较高成就。
