臞仙故人足下，念别来未久。相思苦、罄笔难书，向北遥望翘首。
自客月、由都出发，相偕数友旋归后。遂匆匆、历过炎辉，景况如旧。
兹际秋初，暑气渐减，既归装整就。不多日、略理诸端，挈家南返江右。
谅吾君、今冬事毕，可共我、故园携手。则与君，煮酒谈诗，尔时乐否。
前来雅作，为稍修词，不自知故陋。然我辈、操觚之日，即合思及，历岁虽遥，尚期不朽。
摛词琢句，俱求离俗，琼瑶为体冰为骨，使后人击节称无有。
蠡知管见，审君从善如流，尚希恕其狂谬。
归江以后，城市山林，正暂难预究。惟恃此、笔耕墨溉，老我儒冠，或有馀资，薄田堪购。
文章诗酒，家人妇子，天伦之乐原可味，毕其生、无誉而无咎。

王易（1889~1956）语言学家，国学大师，擅长诗词。原名朝综，字晓湘，号简庵，江西南昌人。1889年农历7月27日生。王易1907年考入京师大学堂（北京大学前身）。1912年毕业。二十年代初，与彭泽、汪辟疆同时执教于心远大学。后远游北京执教于北京师范大学。1926年秋天，进东南大学（1928年更名为中央大学，南京大学的前身），任教七年。王易一生的辉煌时期是在中央大学。他和汪辟疆、柳诒徵、汪东、王伯沆、黄侃、胡翔东被称为“江南七彦”。王易多才博学。工宋诗，意境酷似陈简斋，书法初学灵飞经。写有多部著作如《修辞学通诠》。
