幽兰生深林，不佩亦自臭。
天马苟伏皂。驽足日加骤。
兰生喻人学，不为仕乃究。
马伏侔自怠，一失遂永後。
以今曷为言，念子不可逗。
前我初识子，爱其肌骨秀。
又观所为诗，往往擅高右。
迨熟相与言，低俯如有就。
我乐成美者，遽以古诗叩。
上言高雄张，中杂富贵斗。
且将起其贫，固欲激其懋。
尚谓非重游，犹恐信不厚。
挥汗谢为书，戴雨去自奏。
予始喜此诗，若获弦逐壳。
如何答我诗，遽此与前谬。
我始得则谢，实若答雉嗅。
大凡欲有为，当决如蝠狖。
苟进又安退，何自鼠穴首。
吾见人自荒，未有耕不收。
设或坚决为，加以勤自副。
石将为溜穿，曲亦因累揉。
大可入圣域，中能践贤囿。
借使不及然，犹足闻见富。
中吾不可止，在我固无疚。
己迷不自复，惧子遂著陋。
听之无予违，斯言将不又。

王令（1032～1059）北宋诗人。初字钟美，后改字逢原。原籍元城（今河北大名）。 5岁丧父母，随其叔祖王乙居广陵（今江苏扬州）。长大后在天长、高邮等地以教学为生，有治国安民之志。王安石对其文章和为人皆甚推重。有《广陵先生文章》、《十七史蒙求》。
