吾友守道气刚劲，丑邪扶直出天性。
意高身贱无所发，胸中事事先后併。
襄尝畏其大勇果，愿以中直为得正。
忽闻鲁士李山英，移书告之要力行。
曰今天下最急务，边头战守羌夷横。
异术纷回蠹化原，佞夫欺巧疵邦政。
生民失职餽斂繁，势若久旱方雩禜。
安得快雨洗长空，万物萧森蒙大庆。
古人有以身徇言，前者已僵后者更。
况值朝廷上宽大，苦谏兼容天子圣。
我疾不幸子可属，或列封章或庭诤。
勿学得路世俗儿，软语妖歌日酣醟。
乃知山英落落者，支革虽疲心逾竞。
予思物理似颠倒，难用智愚准衰盛。
贤豪既少遇又稀，或老且困壮而病。
就令贵显亦迍踬，尤触阴机石临穽。
一思九叹起呼天，何等官曹司是柄。
由来宰主都冥寞，用舍惟时穷达命。
山英归去亦何恨，门外无尘春色净。
回看名宦似浮沤，都把雄心付觞咏。

蔡襄（1012年3月7日－1067年9月27日），字君谟，汉族，兴化军仙游县（今枫亭镇青泽亭）人。北宋著名书法家、政治家、茶学家。蔡襄任泉州知府时，主持建造了中国现存年代最早的跨海梁式大石桥泉州洛阳桥；任福建路转运使时，倡植福州至漳州700里驿道松；在建州时，主持制作武夷茶精品“小龙团”，所著《茶录》总结了古代制茶、品茶的经验。所著《荔枝谱》被称赞为“世界上第一部果树分类学著作”。蔡襄工书法，诗文清妙，其书法浑厚端庄，淳淡婉美，自成一体，为“宋四家”之一。有《蔡忠惠公全集》。
