平生有壮志，不解儿女悲。兹晨出门去，忽复伤乖离。
所思别双亲，万里将远违。再拜辞膝下，涕泪交两颐。
去冬在京国，父书累见贻。为言老母病，衰羸殆难支。
念汝久不见，日夕长相思。感此发深叹，傍偟若无依。
恨不生羽翮，清风度郊圻。诘朝抗短疏，顿首叩皇扉。
陈乞暂归省，以慰臣母慈。圣王敦孝理，优诏特许归。
悯臣恳悃意，更赐驿传驰。圣恩诚浩荡，已志尚惊疑。
归来入里门，问讯从邻儿。答云近平复，踊跃喜无涯。
升堂展家庆，小试斑斓衣。童稚尽惊喜，欢声溢庭闱。
亲颜倍欣怿，顾问来何时。江湖多险艰，道路邈逶迤。
况兹雪霜候，恐复伤汝肌。起谢幸无恙，祗惭归省迟。
一荷父母庇，再荷明主知。剪烛坐深夜，开筵泛琼卮。
偕我弟与兄，献寿语嬉嬉。以兹晨夕间，定省得暂施。
于焉洽欢庆，庶用伸我私。岁序忽云改，东风振芳菲。
韶光不相待，王事有程期。促装复载道，欲去不忍辞。

（1392—1452）江西吉水人，字公叙，一作功叙，号石溪。永乐十六年进士。授编修，官至侍读学士，署南京翰林院侍读学士。居禁近二十余年，多所论列，负气节，笃行谊。诏独修辽、金、元三史，力疾诠次不少辍。欲修宋史，不克就而卒。有《石溪文集》。
