玉鞭重倚。却沈吟未上，又索离思。为大乔、能拨春风，小乔妙移筝，雁啼秋水。柳怯云松，更何必、十发梳洗。道郎携羽扇，那日隔帘，半面曾记。
译文：玉鞭重倚，却沉吟未上，又萦离思。为大乔能拨春风，小乔妙移筝，雁啼秋水。柳怯云松，更何必、十分梳洗。清晨步出驿舍，即将离开所爱的人，重新跨马扬鞭走上旅程，却沉吟徘徊，回荡起无限离情别绪，牵绊得难以遽去。姊妹二人不愧天香国色，大乔善鼓琴，小乔妙解弹筝，姊妹为送别演奏出动听的乐曲，有的如春风拂袖，有的似寒雁悲鸣、流水呜咽。她们的体态杨柳般柔弱，发髻轻云般蓬松，风姿动人，更不必着意梳妆。记得她话别之言：“还记得初次见面那天，隔着帘儿看见您携了羽扇而来的样子。”西窗夜凉雨霁，
注释：玉鞭重倚(yǐ)，却沉吟未上，又萦(yíng)离思。为大乔能拨春风，小乔妙移筝，雁啼秋水。柳怯(qiè)云松，更何必、十分梳洗。大乔、小乔：“桥”常又写作“乔”。这里，大乔、小乔代指作者合肥恋人姊妹。雁啼：弹古筝，古筝有承弦之柱斜列如雁行，故云。半面：指初次见面。西窗夜凉雨霁(jì)，
西窗夜凉雨霁。叹幽欢未足，何事轻弃。问后约、空指蔷薇，算如此溪山，甚时重至。水驿灯昏，又见在、曲屏近底。念唯有、夜来皓月，照伊自睡。

姜夔，南宋文学家、音乐家。人品秀拔，体态清莹，气貌若不胜衣，望之若神仙中人。往来鄂、赣、皖、苏、浙间，与诗人词家杨万里、范成大、辛弃疾等交游。庆元中，曾上书乞正太常雅乐，他少年孤贫，屡试不第，终生未仕，一生转徙江湖，靠卖字和朋友接济为生。他多才多艺，精通音律，能自度曲，其词格律严密。其作品素以空灵含蓄著称，有《白石道人歌曲》等。姜夔对诗词、散文、书法、音乐，无不精善，是继苏轼之后又一难得的艺术全才。
