夜深客子移舟处，两两沙禽惊起。红衣入桨，青灯摇浪，微凉意思。把酒临风，不思归去，有如此水。况茂陵游倦，长干望久，芳心事、箫声里。
译文：夜已深，移舟更向鉴湖深处，不觉惊起双双飞鸟。船桨搅动着荷花，船灯也随之摇动，泛起了阵阵波纹，竟有丝丝凉意。把酒言欢，我心怀归，有此水为证。我本有归去之志，更何况远游已倦，伊人望久，把美好之心愿，诉诸悠悠之箫声。
注释：客子：客居他乡之人。移舟：移舟近岸。沙禽：栖息沙洲的水鸟。红衣入桨：荷花倒映水中，船桨在花影中划动。红衣，指荷花。青灯：船中油灯，其光青荧。摇浪：灯光映入水中，随波荡漾。徽凉意思：徽觉凉意。有如此水：有此水作证。茂陵游倦：司马相如称病免官后家居茂陵。茂陵，汉武帝陵墓，在今映西兴平县东北。长干望久：闺中人盼望已久。长干，金陵（南京）里巷名。芳心事：美好的心事。萧声里：从萧声中传达出来。
屈指归期尚未。鹊南飞、有人应喜。画阑桂子，留香小待，提携影底。我已情多，十年幽梦，略曾如此。甚谢郎、也恨飘零，解道月明千里。
译文：数着手指算了算归期还未到。伊人闻鹊而喜，画栏之前，桂树飘香，等待人儿归，待得人儿归，好与伊人携手游赏于月光之下，桂花影里。我已是自伤情多，自远游以来，悲欢离合，总如梦幻，悲多欢少，大抵如此。为何友人你也是自恨飘泊，咏出月明千里一类之词章呢？
注释：鹊南飞：鹊噪报喜，行人即归，又有月夜鹤飞报喜之意。画阑：雕花栏杆。桂子：桂花。提携影底：撰手于花影之下。幽梦：赚胧的梦境。谢郎：谢庄，南朝宋文学家。月明千里，即指谢庄《月赋》之句，此借指友人原作。

姜夔，南宋文学家、音乐家。人品秀拔，体态清莹，气貌若不胜衣，望之若神仙中人。往来鄂、赣、皖、苏、浙间，与诗人词家杨万里、范成大、辛弃疾等交游。庆元中，曾上书乞正太常雅乐，他少年孤贫，屡试不第，终生未仕，一生转徙江湖，靠卖字和朋友接济为生。他多才多艺，精通音律，能自度曲，其词格律严密。其作品素以空灵含蓄著称，有《白石道人歌曲》等。姜夔对诗词、散文、书法、音乐，无不精善，是继苏轼之后又一难得的艺术全才。
