《宿白马寺》翻译及注释

白马驮经事已空，断碑残刹见遗踪。
译文：汉代白马驮经的事早已过去，只剩下断碑和残破的古庙留下遗迹。
注释：白马驮经：传说汉明帝遗使去天竺（今印度）求佛法，有天竺僧摄摩腾和竺法兰至洛阳，同时有白马驮经而来，故所建佛寺名白马寺，白马驮经即指此事。刹：佛寺。
萧萧茅屋秋风起，一夜雨声羁思浓。
译文：这茅草房上吹起了萧瑟的秋风，一夜的浙沥秋雨给人带来了多少别思离情。
注释：萧萧：风声。羁思：即羁旅之思。在外做客思念故乡的心情。

张继（约715~约779）字懿孙，汉族，襄州人（今湖北襄阳人）。唐代诗人，他的生平不甚可知。据诸家记录，仅知他是天宝十二年（公元七五三年）的进士。大历中，以检校祠部员外郎为洪州（今江西南昌市）盐铁判官。他的诗爽朗激越，不事雕琢，比兴幽深，事理双切，对后世颇有影响。但可惜流传下来的不到50首。他的最著名的诗是《枫桥夜泊》。
