宋代：姜夔
丙午岁，留长沙。登祝融。因得其祠神之曲曰《黄帝盐》、《苏合香》。又于乐工故书中得商调《霓裳曲》十八阕，皆虚谱无辞。按沈氏《乐律》，《霓裳》道调，此乃商调。乐天诗云：“散序六阕”，此特两阕。未知孰是？然音节闲雅，不类今曲：余不暇尽作。作《中序》一阕传于世。余方羁游，感此古音，不自知其辞之怨抑也。
注释：霓裳中序第一：词牌名，是姜夔所填“商调”曲。祝融：衡山七十二峰之最高峰。《黄帝盐》、《苏合香》：南宋时献神乐曲。前者原为唐代杖鼓曲，后者原为唐代软舞曲。商调：乐曲七调之一，其音凄怆哀怨。沈氏《乐律》：指沈括《梦溪笔谈》论乐律。怨抑：怨恨抑郁。
亭皋正望极，乱落江莲归未得。多病却无气力，况纨扇渐疏，罗衣初索。流光过隙，叹杏梁、双燕如客。人何在？一帘淡月，仿佛照颜色。
译文：从平坦的江畔极目远望，乱纷纷莲花凋落，一去不返，顺水漂泊。多病的身躯气力衰弱，更何况秋风渐渐寒瑟，团扇渐渐闲搁，罗衣单薄，开始更换穿着。光阴流逝如白驹从门缝一闪而过，可叹杏梁上的双燕春来秋去就像远行的旅客。意中人儿何在？一帘淡淡秋月银波，仿佛照着她憔悴的颜色。
注释：亭皋：水边的平地上。正望极：指望尽天涯。纨扇渐疏：秋天渐近，逐渐疏远团扇。罗衣：轻软丝织品制成的衣服。流光：指如流水般逝去的时光。过隙：喻时间短暂，光阴易逝。杏梁：文杏木做的屋梁。
幽寂，乱蛩吟壁，动庾信、清愁似织。沉思年少浪迹，笛里关山，柳下坊陌。坠红无信息，漫暗水、涓涓溜碧。飘零久、而今何意，醉卧酒垆侧。
译文：多少幽暗寂寞。蟋蟀在墙壁里杂乱地吟歌，牵动了流寓异乡的庾信，清秋的愁绪如乱丝萦惹。深深地回忆年少时的浪迹飘泊，笛声里关山跋涉。垂柳下花巷消磨。意中人如落红断了音信，仿佛随着碧绿的暗水涓涓流去，空自失落。飘零日久，而今哪还有，醉卧酒垆的豪旷意绪和气魄。
注释：蛩：蟋蟀。庾信：南北朝时期诗人、文学家，字子山，小字兰成。坠红：落花。醉卧酒垆侧：形容豪饮一醉方休。酒垆：置酒瓮的土台。

姜夔，南宋文学家、音乐家。人品秀拔，体态清莹，气貌若不胜衣，望之若神仙中人。往来鄂、赣、皖、苏、浙间，与诗人词家杨万里、范成大、辛弃疾等交游。庆元中，曾上书乞正太常雅乐，他少年孤贫，屡试不第，终生未仕，一生转徙江湖，靠卖字和朋友接济为生。他多才多艺，精通音律，能自度曲，其词格律严密。其作品素以空灵含蓄著称，有《白石道人歌曲》等。姜夔对诗词、散文、书法、音乐，无不精善，是继苏轼之后又一难得的艺术全才。
