天阔云高，溪横水远，晚日寒生轻晕。闲阶静、杨花渐少，朱门掩、莺声犹嫩。悔匆匆、过却清明，旋占得余芳，已成幽恨。却几日阴沉，连宵慵困，起来韶华都尽。
译文：天宇广阔，白云高浮，清溪在前，流水去远，傍晚的太阳在寒冷的空气中蒙上一层轻晕。无人的台阶静悄悄地，杨花也逐渐稀少了。大红门关闭着，黄莺的叫声听去还很稚嫩。我后悔匆匆忙忙地就让清明节过去了，便赶紧去观赏余留下来的花朵，但也已经成了内心的憾恨。却又接连好几天天气都阴沉沉的，从白天到夜晚，人都感到懒洋洋的，十分倦困，等我再起来去看，大好春光都已完结了。
注释：金明池：秦观创调，词咏汴京金明池，故取以为名。另作“夏云峰”，并题日：“伤春”。有人认为“伤春”之题可能并不太符合原作意，应是后人所加。溪横：溪水横在眼前。轻晕：指淡淡的光圈。朱门：红颜色的门。旋：很快的、不久。宵：夜。连宵：从白天到晚上。慵困：懒散困倦。韶华：美好的时光，这里指代无限春光。
怨入双眉闲斗损。乍品得情怀，看承全近。深深态、无非自许；厌厌意、终羞人问。争知道、梦里蓬莱，待忘了余香，时时音信。纵留得莺花，东风不住，也则眼前愁闷。
译文：怨恨进入双眉，眉头总是紧蹙，只是白白地折磨自己。我忽然对这种情怀有所领悟，仔细想来，还十分亲切。人们深深地表示失望，无非是自己有所期求；懒懒地精神不振，必不好意思被人追问。你哪里知道只有幻梦里才有蓬莱仙境，等到把你留恋的一点余香都忘个干净，自然会时时传给你美好的音信。否则你即使能留得住黄莺和鲜花，只要东风不停，也依然会让你的眼前充满愁绪和烦闷。
注释：闲斗损：空对煞。损：甚，十分的意思。意谓终日双眉紧锁。乍：恰、正当。看承：特别看待。全近：非常亲近。全，副词，甚或很的意思。深深态：深深失望的样子。自许：自我有期许。厌厌：通“恹恹”。精神不振的样子。争知道：即怎知道。蓬莱：喻仙境，指与恋人相会处。也则：依然。

北宋僧人、词人。字师利。安州（今湖北安陆）人。本姓张，名挥，仲殊为其法号。曾应进士科考试。生卒年不详。年轻时游荡不羁，几乎被妻子毒死，弃家为僧，先后寓居苏州承天寺、杭州宝月寺，因时常食蜜以解毒，人称蜜殊；或又用其俗名称他为僧挥。他与苏轼往来甚厚。徽宗崇宁年间自缢而死。
