南北朝：谢灵运
我行乘日垂，放舟候月圆。
译文：我出行直到太阳落山的时候，开船等待圆月升起。
注释：归濑（lài）：当为地名，但未详所在。三瀑布、两溪：亦不详所指。疑都在始宁石门附近。日垂：太阳落山的时候。放舟：开船。候：等待。
沫江免风涛，涉清弄漪涟。
译文：选在风平浪静的时候行船，船行在清澈的江水上泛起鱼鳞似的细小波纹。
注释：沫江、涉清：互文同意，都是指在清澈的江水上浮行。免风涛：避开风浪。即选在风平浪静的时候行船。漪涟：鱼鳞似的细小波纹。
积石竦两溪，飞泉倒三山。
译文：层层叠叠的岩石耸立在两条溪水之间，三条瀑布分别从三个山头上倒挂下来。
注释：积石：层层叠叠的岩石。竦两溪：耸立在两条溪水之间。“竦”同“耸”。飞泉倒三山：三条瀑布分别从三个山头上倒挂下来。
亦既穷登陟，荒蔼横目前。
译文：也曾登岩爬山将这一带的山水游览遍了，岩高林密人迹罕到之处又展现在面前。
注释：亦既：相当于“也曾”、“又曾”，用来追述从前发生过的事。穷登陟：登岩爬山将这一带的山水游览遍了。目前：面前。
窥岩不睹景，披林岂见天。
译文：从岩石缝隙往外看，看不到太阳，拨开丛林的枝叶也看不到天空。

阳乌尚倾翰，幽篁未为邅。
译文：太阳尚且放射光辉，竹林虽然幽深，但并不太难走。
注释：阳乌：传说日中有乌，故以阳乌指称太阳。倾翰：本指乌鸟掉洒羽毛，这里喻指太阳放射光辉。幽篁：茂密深暗的竹丛。邅：难行。
退寻平常时，安知巢穴难。
译文：平时隐退思考的时候，才知道隐居生活是多么艰难。
注释：寻：思考。巢穴：巢居穴处，这里代指隐居生活。
风雨非攸吝，拥志谁与宣。
译文：隐居生活的艰苦倒不值得忧虑，可心中抱有的志趣跟谁去诉说呢。

倘有同枝条，此日即千年。
译文：尚且有志趣相同的人，过一日胜似千年。

谢灵运（385年－433年），东晋陈郡阳夏（今河南太康）人，出生在会稽始宁（今浙江上虞），原为陈郡谢氏士族。东晋名将谢玄之孙，小名“客”，人称谢客。又以袭封康乐公，称谢康公、谢康乐。著名山水诗人，主要创作活动在刘宋时代，中国文学史上山水诗派的开创者。由谢灵运始，山水诗乃成中国文学史上的一大流派，最著名的是《山居赋》，也是见诸史册的第一位大旅行家。谢灵运还兼通史学，工于书法，翻译佛经，曾奉诏撰《晋书》。《隋书·经籍志》、《晋书》录有《谢灵运集》等14种。
