暮景萧萧雨霁。云淡天高风细。正月华如水。金波银汉，潋滟无际。冷浸书帷梦断，却披衣重起。临轩砌。
译文：傍晚雨过天晴，庭院里一片寂静。天高云淡，微风细细。在这如水月光中，星光与之交相辉映，仿佛没有边际一般。书房中的冷气将梦打断，只好披上衣服又一次起来。来到台阶前。
注释：暮景：傍晚的景色。萧萧：萧条，寂静。雨霁：雨过天晴。月华：月光。金波：本谓月光，月光浮动若金之波流，借指月亮。银汉：银河。潋滟：水波荡漾的样子。此指星光月光交相辉映。书帷：书斋中的帷帐，代指书斋。轩砌：屋前台阶。
素光遥指。因念翠蛾，杳隔音尘何处，相望同千里。尽凝睇。厌厌无寐。渐晓雕阑独倚。
译文：月光高照。因为想念远方的妻子，远隔千里的音信在何处，同时望着天上的明月。尽凝视。寂寞无法入睡。天色将明，仍独自倚着阑干。
注释：素光：月光。翠蛾：妇女细而长曲的黛眉，泛指美女。杳隔：远隔。音尘：音信，消息。凝睇：凝望，注视。厌厌：无精打采。雕阑：用彩画装饰的阑干。

柳永，（约987年—约1053年）北宋著名词人，婉约派代表人物。汉族，崇安（今福建武夷山）人，原名三变，字景庄，后改名永，字耆卿，排行第七，又称柳七。宋仁宗朝进士，官至屯田员外郎，故世称柳屯田。他自称“奉旨填词柳三变”，以毕生精力作词，并以“白衣卿相”自诩。其词多描绘城市风光和歌妓生活，尤长于抒写羁旅行役之情，创作慢词独多。铺叙刻画，情景交融，语言通俗，音律谐婉，在当时流传极其广泛，人称“凡有井水饮处，皆能歌柳词”，婉约派最具代表性的人物之一，对宋词的发展有重大影响，代表作 《雨霖铃》《八声甘州》。
