日头欲出未出时，雾失江城雨脚微。
译文：太阳将出而未出的时分，大雾遮住了江城，又变成细雨霏霏。
注释：雨脚：即雨线之意。
天忽作晴山卷幔，云犹含态石披衣。
译文：忽然天又变晴，卷起帐幔露出了群山；云彩朵朵，好像山石披上了白衣。
烟村南北黄鹂语，麦垅高低紫燕飞。
译文：村落间到处听到黄鹂啭鸣，麦垅间看到紫燕在上下翻飞。
注释：垅：同“垄”，土埂。
谁似田家知此乐，呼儿吹笛跨牛归？
译文：谁能像农人一样知道此中乐趣？他们正招呼儿童骑牛吹笛把家归。

王庭珪（1079～1171）字民瞻，自号泸溪老人、泸溪真逸，吉州安福（今属江西）人。性伉厉，为诗雄浑。乾道八年（1172）病逝，终年92岁，去世后葬于安福县山庄乡下沙村长甫村后山腰，胡铨撰写墓志铭碑。王庭珪是两宋之交的重要诗人。他个性刚直，辞官归隐，曾因诗送胡铨而被贬辰州。靖康之变而后他表现出对国家忧患和民生疾苦的极大关注，有着强烈的爱国情感，诗文词创作都取得了较高成就。
