《义士赵良》翻译及注释

赵良者，燕人也。漂泊江湖，疾恶如仇。一日，途经谢庄，闻有哭声，遂疾步入茅舍，见一少女蓬头垢面，哀甚。义士询之，乃知为某村二恶少所凌辱也，痛不欲生。义士怒不可遏，径自诣某村，索二恶少，责之曰：“汝等何故凌辱无辜少女？”一恶少虎视眈眈曰：“何预尔事？”义士瞋目斥之：“汝非人也，但禽兽耳！”未及恶少出剑，义士之白刃已入其胸，立仆。一恶少伏地求恕，义士斩其耳以示众，儆其不得为非作歹也。
译文： 赵良这个人，祖籍燕赵（今河北一带）。漂泊江湖之中，疾恶如仇。一天路过谢庄，听到有哭的声音，就快步进入茅草屋里，见到一个少女面目脏乱，表情非常悲伤，赵良问她怎么了，这才得知是被某村两个恶少欺凌，污辱，痛苦得不想活了。赵良愤怒的不可忍耐，径直到了那个村庄，找到了两个恶少，责问他们：“你们为什么欺凌无辜的小女孩？”一个恶少虎视耽耽的说：“关你什么事？”赵良用眼瞪他并说道：”你不是人啊，只是个禽兽！”还没等恶少拔出剑来，赵良的剑已经插进了他的心脏，恶少立刻就倒地了。另一个恶少跪地求饶，赵良割下他的耳朵以示众人，警告他们不能再做坏事了！
注释： 遂：便，就。垢：脏。询：问。索：寻找。眈眈：瞪着眼。仆：跌倒。疾恶如仇：痛恨。燕人：河北一带的人。凌辱：欺侮与污辱。儆：警告。遏：控制。瞋目：瞪大眼睛。径：径直。诣：前往、去到。歹：坏，恶，跟“好”相反为：是。得：能够。为……所……：表被动。以示众：来展示给众人。遂疾步入：快，急速。义士询之：询问。责之曰：责怪。何预尔事：参与。但禽尔事：只是。
