两汉：曹植
煮豆燃豆萁，豆在釜中泣。
译文：锅里煮着豆子，豆秸在锅底下燃烧，豆子在锅里面哭泣。
本是同根生，相煎何太急？（版本一）
译文：豆子和豆秸本来是同一条根上生长出来的，豆秸怎能这样急迫地煎熬豆子呢？
煮豆持作羹，漉菽以为汁。(菽一作：豉)
译文：锅里煮着豆子，是想把豆子的残渣过滤出去，留下豆汁来作羹。
注释：持：用来。羹：用肉或菜做成的糊状食物。漉：过滤。菽（豉）：豆。这句的意思是说把豆子的残渣过滤出去，留下豆汁作羹。
萁在釜下燃，豆在釜中泣。
译文：豆秸在锅底下燃烧，豆子在锅里面哭泣。
注释：燃：燃烧。萁：豆类植物脱粒后剩下的茎。釜：锅。泣：小声哭。

译文：豆子和豆秸本来是同一条根上生长出来的，豆秸怎能这样急迫地煎熬豆子呢！

曹植（192－232），字子建，沛国谯（今安徽省亳州市）人。三国曹魏著名文学家，建安文学代表人物。魏武帝曹操之子，魏文帝曹丕之弟，生前曾为陈王，去世后谥号“思”，因此又称陈思王。后人因他文学上的造诣而将他与曹操、曹丕合称为“三曹”，南朝宋文学家谢灵运更有“天下才有一石，曹子建独占八斗”的评价。王士祯尝论汉魏以来二千年间诗家堪称“仙才”者，曹植、李白、苏轼三人耳。
