魏晋：陶渊明
少无适俗韵，性本爱丘山。
译文：少小时就没有随俗气韵，自己的天性是热爱自然。
注释：少：指少年时代。适俗：适应世俗。韵：本性、气质。一作“愿”。
误落尘网中，一去三十年。(误落一作：误入)
译文：偶失足落入了仕途罗网，转眼间离田园已十余年。
注释：尘网：指尘世，官府生活污浊而又拘束，犹如网罗。这里指仕途。三十年：有人认为是“十三年”之误（陶渊明做官十三年）。一说，此处是三又十年之意（习惯说法是十又三年），诗人意感“一去十三年”音调嫌平，故将十三年改为倒文。
羁鸟恋旧林，池鱼思故渊。
译文：笼中鸟常依恋往日山林，池里鱼向往着从前深渊。
注释：羁鸟：笼中之鸟。恋：一作“眷”。池鱼：池塘之鱼。鸟恋旧林、鱼思故渊，借喻自己怀恋旧居。
开荒南野际，守拙归园田。
译文：我愿在南野际开垦荒地，保持着拙朴性归耕田园。
注释：野：一作“亩”。际：间。守拙：意思是不随波逐流，固守节操。
方宅十余亩，草屋八九间。
译文：绕房宅方圆有十余亩地，还有那茅屋草舍八九间。
注释：方宅：宅地方圆。一说，“方”通“旁”。
榆柳荫后檐，桃李罗堂前。
译文：榆柳树荫盖着房屋后檐，争春的桃与李列满院前。
注释：荫：荫蔽。罗：罗列。
暧暧远人村，依依墟里烟。
译文：远处的邻村舍依稀可见，村落里飘荡着袅袅炊烟。
注释：暧暧：昏暗，模糊。依依：轻柔而缓慢的飘升。墟里：村落。
狗吠深巷中，鸡鸣桑树颠。
译文：深巷中传来了几声狗吠，桑树顶有雄鸡不停啼唤。
户庭无尘杂，虚室有余闲。
译文：庭院内没有那尘杂干扰，静室里有的是安适悠闲。
注释：户庭：门庭。尘杂：尘俗杂事。虚室：空室。余闲：闲暇。
久在樊笼里，复得返自然。
译文：久困于樊笼里毫无自由，我今日总算又归返林山。
注释：樊笼：蓄鸟工具，这里比喻官场生活。樊，藩篱，栅栏。返自然：指归耕园田。

陶渊明（约365年—427年），字元亮，（又一说名潜，字渊明）号五柳先生，私谥“靖节”，东晋末期南朝宋初期诗人、文学家、辞赋家、散文家。汉族，东晋浔阳柴桑人（今江西九江）。曾做过几年小官，后辞官回家，从此隐居，田园生活是陶渊明诗的主要题材，相关作品有《饮酒》、《归园田居》、《桃花源记》、《五柳先生传》、《归去来兮辞》等。
