《淮民谣》翻译及注释

宋代：尤袤
东府买舟船，西府买器械。
译文：东府购买了船只，西府购买了器械。
注释：东府购买了船只，西府购买了器械。东府、西府：泛指掌管地方武装的官府。
问侬欲何为，团结山水寨。
译文：要问他们买这些干什么？是为了组建山水寨。
注释：问侬：犹言借问。何为：干什么，做什么。团结：组织。山水寨：即乡兵。宋兵制，官军之外有乡兵，选自百姓或自己应募，就地组织起来，作为防守部队。
寨长过我庐，意气甚雄粗。
译文：寨长经过我的家，盛气凌人，态度粗暴。
注释：寨长：指乡兵首领。意气：精神；神色。雄粗：雄豪、粗野。
青衫两承局，暮夜连勾呼。
译文：两个穿着青衣的公差，在黑夜里还忙着来拉人，大呼小叫。
注释：承局：公差。勾呼：点名传唤。
勾呼且未已，椎剥到鸡豕。
译文：呼叫声没落，就催着杀鸡宰猪。
注释：椎剥：谓残酷搜刮。
供应稍不如，向前受笞箠。
译文：供应稍不如意，马上就被鞭打侮辱。
注释：供应：伺候，听候使唤。不如：不如意。笞箠：用鞭杖或竹板打。
驱东复驱西，弃却锄与犁。
译文：做了乡兵被东驱西赶，没时间种田，田园都已荒芜。
无钱买刀剑，典尽浑家衣。
译文：家中拿不出钱买刀剑，只好当尽妻子的衣服。
注释：浑家：妻子。也可作全家解。
去年江南荒，趁熟过江北。
译文：去年江南受了灾荒，逃荒到了江北。
注释：趁熟：到未遭灾荒的地方去乞讨谋生。黄震《日抄》：“浙人乡谈……盖谓荒处之人于熟处趁求也。”
江北不可往，江南归未得。
译文：在江北没法活命，回江南也没有生路。
父母生我时，教我学耕桑。
译文：父母生下了我，教我种田养桑；
注释：耕桑：种田与养蚕。亦泛指从事农业。
不识官府严，安能事戎行。
译文：从来不知道官府的规矩，怎能够当兵打仗？
注释：戎行：当兵打仗。
执枪不解刺，执弓不能射。
译文：拿着枪不知道怎样刺，拿起弓射不准目标。
注释：不解：不知道。
团结我何为，徒劳定无益。
译文：拉我来当兵干什么，只是白白劳民，毫无益处。
流离重流离，忍冻复忍饥。
译文：逃到了东边又逃往西边，忍受着寒冷又忍受着饥饿。
谁谓天地宽，一身无所依。
译文：谁说天高地广？我居然没块地方安身立足！
注释：“谁谓”句：用孟郊《赠别崔纯亮》：“食荠肠亦苦，强歌声无欢。出门即有碍，谁谓天地宽。”
淮南丧乱后，安集亦未久。
译文：淮南自从经过战乱，人民回归家园，安定不久。
注释：安集：安定、聚集。
死者积如麻，生者能几口。
译文：死去的人如麻数也数不清，生存的又有几口？
荒村日西斜，破屋两三家。
译文：荒芜的村庄斜阳西照，只见到破败的农家没有几户。
抚摩力不足，将奈此扰何。
译文：他们没有力量医好战争的创伤，对这番扰害又怎能承受？力不给：力量不够。将奈此扰何：奈何，对付。此处意谓人民如何对付得了这种扰害。
注释：抚摩：抚慰、体惜。力不给：力量不够。

尤袤（mào）（1127年—1202年），字延之，小字季长，号遂初居士，晚年号乐溪、木石老逸民。南宋著名诗人、大臣、藏书家。祖父尤申，父尤时享，治史擅诗。绍兴十八年（1148年），尤袤登进士第。初为泰兴令。孝宗朝，为大宗正丞，累迁至太常少卿，权充礼部侍郎兼修国史，又曾权中书舍人兼直学士。光宗朝为焕章阁侍制、给事中，后授礼部尚书兼侍读。卒后谥号“文简”。尤袤与杨万里、范成大、陆游并称为“南宋四大诗人”。原有《梁溪集》五十卷，早佚。清人尤侗辑有《梁溪遗稿》两卷，刊行于时。
