《登岳阳楼》翻译及注释

唐代：杜甫
昔闻洞庭水，今上岳阳楼。
译文：很早听过闻名遐迩的洞庭湖，今日有幸登上湖边的岳阳楼。
注释：洞庭水：即洞庭湖，在今湖南北部，长江南岸，是中国第二淡水湖。岳阳楼：即岳阳城西门楼，在湖南省岳阳市，下临洞庭湖，为游览胜地。
吴楚东南坼，乾坤日夜浮。
译文：大湖浩瀚像把吴楚东南隔开，天地像在湖面日夜荡漾漂浮。
注释：吴楚句：吴楚两地在我国东南。坼：分裂。乾坤：指日、月。浮：日月星辰和大地昼夜都飘浮在洞庭湖上。
亲朋无一字，老病有孤舟。
译文：漂泊江湖亲朋故旧不寄一字，年老体弱生活在这一叶孤舟。
注释：无一字：音讯全无。字：这里指书信。老病：杜甫时年五十七岁，身患肺病，风痹，右耳已聋。有孤舟：唯有孤舟一叶飘零无定。
戎马关山北，凭轩涕泗流。
译文：关山以北战争烽火仍未止息，凭窗遥望胸怀家国涕泪交流。
注释：戎马：指战争。关山北：北方边境。凭轩：靠着窗户。涕泗流：眼泪禁不住地流淌。

杜甫（712－770），字子美，自号少陵野老，世称“杜工部”、“杜少陵”等，汉族，河南府巩县（今河南省巩义市）人，唐代伟大的现实主义诗人，杜甫被世人尊为“诗圣”，其诗被称为“诗史”。杜甫与李白合称“李杜”，为了跟另外两位诗人李商隐与杜牧即“小李杜”区别开来，杜甫与李白又合称“大李杜”。他忧国忧民，人格高尚，他的约1400余首诗被保留了下来，诗艺精湛，在中国古典诗歌中备受推崇，影响深远。759-766年间曾居成都，后世有杜甫草堂纪念。
