长忆西湖。尽日凭阑楼上望：三三两两钓鱼舟，岛屿正清秋。
译文：我经常想起漫游西湖，整天站在楼台上，扶栏远眺那湖光山色的情景：湖面上三三两两的钓鱼小船，小岛上天高淡远的号色。
注释：西湖：即今杭州西湖。尽日：整天。凭：靠着。阑：横格栅门。岛屿：指湖中三潭印月、阮公墩和孤山三岛。
笛声依约芦花里，白鸟成行忽惊起。别来闲整钓鱼竿，思入水云寒。
译文：最难忘的是，一阵悠扬的笛声隐隐约约地从芦花荡里传长时，惊动了栖息在那里的白鹭，它们倏地成群飞起，排列成行。西湖的景色使我艳羡神往，因此一旦离开它，闲暇时，又撩起我垂钓的情趣，开始整修钓鱼工具，此刻仿佛又置身于清凉爽阔的西湖秋色之中了。
注释：依约：隐隐约约。白鸟：白鸥。水云：水和云融为一起，淡蓝乳白相间，给人清凉爽快之感，这里指西湖秋天的景色。

潘阆（?～1009）宋初著名隐士、文人。字梦空，一说字逍遥，号逍遥子，大名（今属河北）人，一说扬州(今属江苏)人。性格疏狂，曾两次坐事亡命。真宗时释其罪，任滁州参军。有诗名，风格类孟郊、贾岛，亦工词，今仅存《酒泉子》十首。
