唐代：杜甫
翳翳桑榆日，照我征衣裳。
译文：黄昏时暮色苍茫，夕阳的光辉笼罩在我身上。
注释：翳翳：晦暗不明貌。桑榆：日落时光照桑榆树端，因以指日暮。征衣裳：此指旅人之衣。
我行山川异，忽在天一方。
译文：一路行程山河变换，一瞬间就在天的另一方。
注释：“我行”二句：意谓一路走来经历了千山万水，不知不觉又到了成都这样一个遥远而崭新的地方。
但逢新人民，未卜见故乡。
译文：只是不断的遇到陌生人，不知何时会再见到故乡。
注释：但：只。新人民：新地初睹之人。未卜：没有占卜，引申为不知，难料。
大江东流去，游子日月长。
译文：大江浩荡东流去，客居异乡的岁月会更长。
注释：大江：指岷江。东流去：一作“从东来”。游子：离家远游的人。日月：时间。一作“去日”。
曾城填华屋，季冬树木苍。
译文：城市中华屋高楼林立，寒冬腊月里树木苍苍。
注释：曾城：即重城。成都有大城、少城，故云。填：布满。华屋：华美的屋宇。季冬：冬季的最后一个月，农历十二月。苍：深青色，深绿色。
喧然名都会，吹箫间笙簧。
译文：人声鼎沸的大都市啊，歌舞升平吹拉弹唱。
注释：喧然：热闹；喧哗。名都会：著名的城市。此指成都。间：夹杂。一作“奏”。笙簧：指笙。簧，笙中之簧片。
信美无与适，侧身望川梁。
译文：无法适应这华美的都市生活，只好侧身把远山遥望。
注释：信：确实。此处有“虽”字义。无与适：无处可称心。川梁：桥梁。
鸟雀夜各归，中原杳茫茫。
译文：夜幕四合鸟雀归巢，战火纷飞的中原音讯渺茫。
注释：“鸟雀”二句：以鸟雀犹知归巢，因兴中原辽远之归思。
初月出不高，众星尚争光。
译文：初升的月儿斜挂天边，天空繁星闪烁与月争光。
注释：初月：新月。争光：与之比试光辉。
自古有羁旅，我何苦哀伤。
译文：客居他乡自古有之，我又何苦独自哀愁悲伤？
注释：羁旅：指客居异乡的人。

杜甫（712－770），字子美，自号少陵野老，世称“杜工部”、“杜少陵”等，汉族，河南府巩县（今河南省巩义市）人，唐代伟大的现实主义诗人，杜甫被世人尊为“诗圣”，其诗被称为“诗史”。杜甫与李白合称“李杜”，为了跟另外两位诗人李商隐与杜牧即“小李杜”区别开来，杜甫与李白又合称“大李杜”。他忧国忧民，人格高尚，他的约1400余首诗被保留了下来，诗艺精湛，在中国古典诗歌中备受推崇，影响深远。759-766年间曾居成都，后世有杜甫草堂纪念。
