宋代：秦观
碧水惊秋，黄云凝暮，败叶零乱空阶。洞房人静，斜月照徘徊。又是重阳近也，几处处，砧杵声催。西窗下，风摇翠竹，疑是故人来。
译文：碧清的水面放出冷冷的秋光使人心惊，黄云在暮色中凝聚，台阶上到处是零乱破败的落叶。室内悄无人声，月光斜斜地照进来，照着他独自徘徊。又一个重阳节临近了，到处是催人的砧杵声。西窗下，开门风动竹，疑是故人来。
注释：洞房：深邃的内室。砧杵：古代捣衣工具。砧为捣衣石，杆为捣衣棒。
伤怀。增怅望，新欢易失，往事难猜。问篱边黄菊，知为谁开。谩道愁须殢酒，酒未醒、愁已先回。凭阑久，金波渐转，白露点苍苔。
译文：宦海的风波，使人与人之间的情感变得非常脆弱；而仕途上的是非往往是无事生非，谁又能说得清楚。问问篱边的黄菊，不知是为谁而开？不要随便说什么愁总是跟酒在一起，酒能留住愁；其实，酒还没有醒，愁就已经先回来了。凭栏沉思了很久，月亮渐渐西沉，苍苔上已生出点点白露。
注释：问篱边二句：思念故乡。殢酒：病酒，为酒所困。此为以酒浇愁之意。金波，月光。

秦观（1049-1100）字太虚，又字少游，别号邗沟居士，世称淮海先生。汉族，北宋高邮（今江苏）人，官至太学博士，国史馆编修。秦观一 生坎坷，所写诗词，高古沉重，寄托身世，感人至深。秦观生前行踪所至之处，多有遗迹。如浙江杭州的秦少游祠，丽水的秦少游塑像、淮海先生祠、莺花亭；青田的秦学士祠；湖南郴州三绝碑；广西横县的海棠亭、醉乡亭、淮海堂、淮海书院等。秦观墓在无锡惠山之北粲山上，墓碑上书“秦龙图墓”几个大字。有秦家村、秦家大院以及省级文物保护单位古文游台。
