一声声，一更更。窗外芭蕉窗里灯，此时无限情。
译文：雨一直下着，听着窗外的雨滴声，直到深更都难以入睡。雨中的芭蕉和屋里的油灯此时似乎也变得多情起来，安慰孤独的我。
注释：一更更：一遍遍报时的更鼓声。
梦难成，恨难平。不道愁人不喜听，空阶滴到明。
译文：好梦难成，此恨难消，窗外的雨可不管忧愁的人喜不喜欢听，仍是不停地下着，雨滴一直滴到天明才停了下来。
注释：恨，遗撼。道：知。阶：台阶。

万俟咏是北宋末南宋初词人。字雅言，自号词隐、大梁词隐。籍贯与生卒年均不详。哲宗元佑时已以诗赋见称于时。据王灼《碧鸡漫志》卷2记载：“元佑时诗赋老手”。但屡试不第，于是绝意仕进，纵情歌酒。自号“大梁词隐”。徽宗政和初年，召试补官，授大晟府制撰。绍兴五年(1135)补任下州文学。善工音律，能自度新声。词学柳永，存词27首。
