又到绿杨曾折处，不语垂鞭，踏遍清秋路。衰草连天无意绪，雁声远向萧关去。
译文：又来到昔日折柳相送友人的故地，骑马默默垂鞭徐行，心绪沉沉惝恍迷离，在无望的秋思之途踏行。衰草无边已了无生趣。大雁远去关塞遥远。
注释：绿杨曾折：古人在送别时，有折柳枝相赠的习俗。垂鞭，放马慢行。衰草：指秋天的草。意绪：心绪；心情。萧关：关口名。在今甘肃平凉县，古为西北边地要塞。
不恨天涯行役苦，只恨西风，吹梦成今古。明日客程还几许，沾衣况是新寒雨。
译文：天涯羁旅之苦却也无妨，只可恨那西风吹散吹灭了多少穿越古今的美梦。明天，行程还在延续，乍寒的新雨打湿衣衫，更觉凄冷孤单。
注释：行役：指因公务而长期在外跋涉。成今古：谓今与古距离遥远，实为感叹光阴易逝。几许：多少。

纳兰性德（1655－1685），满洲人，字容若，号楞伽山人，清代最著名词人之一。其诗词“纳兰词”在清代以至整个中国词坛上都享有很高的声誉，在中国文学史上也占有光采夺目的一席。他生活于满汉融合时期，其贵族家庭兴衰具有关联于王朝国事的典型性。虽侍从帝王，却向往经历平淡。特殊的生活环境背景，加之个人的超逸才华，使其诗词创作呈现出独特的个性和鲜明的艺术风格。流传至今的《木兰花令·拟古决绝词》——“人生若只如初见，何事秋风悲画扇？等闲变却故人心，却道故人心易变。”富于意境，是其众多代表作之一。
