有甚闲愁可皱眉。老怀无绪自伤悲。百年旋逐花阴转，万事长看鬓发知。
译文：那是为着什么闲愁才这样愁眉不展的呢？还不是由于老来无奈，百无心绪的晚景堪悲啊！人生百年，只不过像是阳光移动着花影那么飘忽匆忙。每当对镜看到自己的两鬓渐成斑白，更感到心灰意懒，万事皆空啊！
注释：鹧鸪天：词牌名，又名“思佳客”“半死桐”等，双调五十五字，上下片各三平韵。重九：旧历九月九日，即重阳节。旋：渐。花阴：花荫。阴，同“荫”。
溪上枕，竹间棋。怕寻酒伴懒吟诗。十分筋力夸强健，只比年时病起时。
译文：每日来只是溪头醉饮，竹林对弈，打发着这闲暇的岁月，哪儿还有邀朋呼醉、作赋吟诗的旧时豪兴呢？当年那逞强好胜、遇事不甘人后的精神意气如今安在呢？所余只不过是年来久病初起时的弱不禁风了啊！
注释：溪上枕：喻隐居生活。竹间棋：喻隐居生活。十分：全部。筋力：犹体力。年时：往年。

辛弃疾（1140－1207），南宋词人。原字坦夫，改字幼安，别号稼轩，汉族，历城（今山东济南）人。出生时，中原已为金兵所占。21岁参加抗金义军，不久归南宋。历任湖北、江西、湖南、福建、浙东安抚使等职。一生力主抗金。曾上《美芹十论》与《九议》，条陈战守之策。其词抒写力图恢复国家统一的爱国热情，倾诉壮志难酬的悲愤，对当时执政者的屈辱求和颇多谴责；也有不少吟咏祖国河山的作品。题材广阔又善化用前人典故入词，风格沉雄豪迈又不乏细腻柔媚之处。由于辛弃疾的抗金主张与当政的主和派政见不合，后被弹劾落职，退隐江西带湖。
