两汉：曹植
纣为昏乱，虐残忠正。
译文：纣王十分昏庸无道，残害忠良。
注释：纣：指商朝最后一位君主帝辛，谥号纣，世称殷纣王、商纣王。
周室何隆，一门三圣。
译文：周家多么兴隆，一家中出了三位圣人。
注释：三圣：指的是周文王、周武王、周公三位周朝创始人、统治者。
牧野致功，天亦革命。
译文：出生草莽而功在天下，天下都起了翻天覆地的变革。
注释：牧野：牧野之战。周武王的联军与商朝军队在牧野进行的决战。革命：更替朝代，谓之革命。
汉祚之兴，阶秦之衰。
译文：汉朝的突然兴起，同时意味着秦朝的灭亡。
虽有南面，王道陵夷。
译文：虽然皇帝在南面凌驾于诸夷之上。
注释：陵夷：指衰败，走下坡路。
炎光再幽，殄灭无遗。
译文：然而灼热的光再幽深悠长，终将灭亡得一丝不剩。

曹植（192－232），字子建，沛国谯（今安徽省亳州市）人。三国曹魏著名文学家，建安文学代表人物。魏武帝曹操之子，魏文帝曹丕之弟，生前曾为陈王，去世后谥号“思”，因此又称陈思王。后人因他文学上的造诣而将他与曹操、曹丕合称为“三曹”，南朝宋文学家谢灵运更有“天下才有一石，曹子建独占八斗”的评价。王士祯尝论汉魏以来二千年间诗家堪称“仙才”者，曹植、李白、苏轼三人耳。
