听我尊前醉后歌，人生无奈别离何。但使情亲千里近，须信：无情对面是山河。
译文：请听听我在酒杯前说的这番话，离别本是人生中无可奈何的事情，如果感情好的话，即使相隔千里，也会感觉很近，只是大江对岸的河山太无情了。
注释：定风波：词牌名，又名卷春空、定风波令、醉琼枝、定风流等。范廓之：即范开，据稼轩同时所作《醉翁操》题序，知范廓之将去临安应试。“游建康”，当是预拟之行。建康：即今江苏南京市。“听我”两句：谓人生离别本属无可奈何之事。尊：同樽，酒杯。
寄语石头城下水：居士，而今浑不怕风波。借使未如鸥鸟伴；经惯，也应学得老渔蓑。
译文：告诉建康的山和水，再也没有政治上的风波来纠缠我了。即使不能称为鸥鸟的同伴，但是习惯了以后也能像老渔翁一样，身穿蓑衣，在江上垂钓。
注释：居士：古代称有德才而隐居不仕或未仕的人。此处稼轩自称。浑：全。风波：此指政治上的风波。借使：即使。鸥鸟伴：以鸥鸟为伴。经惯：意指经历一段自我修养，已经习惯于隐居生活。渔蓑：：指渔夫。蓑：蓑衣。

辛弃疾（1140－1207），南宋词人。原字坦夫，改字幼安，别号稼轩，汉族，历城（今山东济南）人。出生时，中原已为金兵所占。21岁参加抗金义军，不久归南宋。历任湖北、江西、湖南、福建、浙东安抚使等职。一生力主抗金。曾上《美芹十论》与《九议》，条陈战守之策。其词抒写力图恢复国家统一的爱国热情，倾诉壮志难酬的悲愤，对当时执政者的屈辱求和颇多谴责；也有不少吟咏祖国河山的作品。题材广阔又善化用前人典故入词，风格沉雄豪迈又不乏细腻柔媚之处。由于辛弃疾的抗金主张与当政的主和派政见不合，后被弹劾落职，退隐江西带湖。
