自送别，心难舍，一点相思几时绝？凭阑袖拂杨花雪。溪又斜，山又遮，人去也！
译文：自从那天送你远去，我心里总是对你难分难舍，一点相思情在心中萦绕不绝。记得送别时我斜倚着栏杆目送你远行。我用衣袖拂去如雪的杨花，以免妨碍视线。然而你的身影已看不见了，只见弯弯曲曲的小溪向东流去，重重的山峦遮住了你远行的道路，我才意识到心上的人，真的走远了。
注释：绝：断。凭阑袖拂杨花雪：写主人公靠着阑干，用袖拂去如雪的飞絮，以免妨碍视线。杨花雪，语出苏轼《少年游》：“去年相送，余杭门外，飞雪似杨花。今年春尽，杨花似雪，犹不见还家。”如雪花般飞舞的杨花。斜：此处指溪流拐弯。

关汉卿（约1220年──1300年），元代杂剧作家。是中国古代戏曲创作的代表人物，“元曲四大家”之首。号已斋（一作一斋）、已斋叟。汉族，解州人（今山西省运城），与马致远、郑光祖、白朴并称为“元曲四大家”。以杂剧的成就最大，一生写了60多种，今存18种，最著名的有《窦娥冤》；关汉卿也写了不少历史剧，如：《单刀会》、《单鞭夺槊》、《西蜀梦》等；散曲今在小令40多首、套数10多首。关汉卿塑造的“我却是蒸不烂、煮不熟、捶不匾、炒不爆、响珰珰一粒铜豌豆”（〈不伏老〉）的形象也广为人称，被誉“曲家圣人”。
