黄花深巷，红叶低窗，凄凉一片秋声。豆雨声来，中间夹带风声。疏疏二十五点，丽谯门、不锁更声。故人远，问谁摇玉佩，檐底铃声？
译文：菊花黄黄的开放在那深深的小巷，枫叶红红的映照着低矮的门窗，凄凉一片都是那秋天的声音。豆子开花的时候却来了下雨的声音，那中间还夹带着风声。稀稀疏疏一夜二十五点也就到了五更，高高的谯楼大门，却锁不住那些声音。老朋友离我那么远，请问是哪一个摇晃着玉佩发出了声音，原来是那屋檐底下的风铃声？
注释：声声慢：词牌名。据传蒋捷作此慢词俱用“声”字入韵，故称此名。亦称胜胜慢、凤示凰、寒松叹、人在楼上，最早见于北宋晁补之笔下。双调，九十七字。前后阕各五仄韵。豆雨：即豆花雨。二十五点：指更点。古代用铜壶滴漏计时，一夜分为五更，一更分为五点，所以叫更点。丽谯门：魏武帝曹操曾筑楼名“丽谯”。谯门：指城上能望远的楼。
彩角声吹月堕，渐连营马动，四起笳声。闪烁邻灯，灯前尚有砧声。知他诉愁到晓，碎哝哝、多少蛩声！诉未了，把一半、分与雁声。
译文：系着彩绸的号角发出的声音一直吹到月亮落下了却还在那里慢腾腾，渐渐地那军营里的人马才接连不断地骚动起来了，可是四周却又扬起了胡笳的声音。邻居的灯光闪烁着，灯前还有那女人为军人在石砧上捣衣的声音。谁知她一边捣衣一边咕咕叨叨地诉说着愁苦一直诉说到天明，碎碎琐琐咕咕哝哝的，就像那数不清的秋蝉哀鸣。她诉说得没完没了，还把一半分给那天空的大雁，让大雁代替她的怨声。
注释：彩角：即画角。笳声：胡笳的声音，其声悲凉。砧声：砧杆声，即捣衣的声音。砧：捶物时，垫在底下的器具。

蒋捷（生卒年不详），字胜欲，号竹山，宋末元初阳羡（今江苏宜兴）人。先世为宜兴巨族，咸淳十年（1274）进士。南宋亡，深怀亡国之痛，隐居不仕，人称“竹山先生”、“樱桃进士”，其气节为时人所重。长于词，与周密、王沂孙、张炎并称“宋末四大家”。其词多抒发故国之思、山河之恸 、风格多样，而以悲凉清俊、萧寥疏爽为主。尤以造语奇巧之作，在宋季词坛上独标一格，有《竹山词》1卷，收入毛晋《宋六十名家词》本、《疆村丛书》本；又《竹山词》2卷，收入涉园景宋元明词续刊本。
