梦断陈王罗袜，情伤学士琵琶。又见西风换年华。数杯添泪酒，几点送秋花。行人天一涯。
译文：从与洛神相会的梦中醒来，有如白居易作《琵琶行》那样感伤。秋风又起流年易逝。几杯酒下肚勾起伤心的眼泪，黄花几点送走了秋光，独自一人浪迹天涯。
注释：中吕：宫调名。红绣鞋：北曲曲牌名，又名“朱履曲”，入“中吕宫”，亦入“正宫”。首二句对。第四、五句多作五字对句。与南曲不同。晚秋：曲题。梦断：梦被截断。指从梦中惊醒。陈王：指三国魏文学家曹植。他最后的封地是陈郡（今河南淮阳），谥号“思”，故被称为陈思王、陈王。罗袜：丝袜。学士琵琶：指唐代大诗人白居易《琵琶行》诗，诗中对琵琶女寄予深切的同情，并有感于自己与琵琶女“同是天涯沦落人”而格外伤感。西风换年华：秋风萧飒，一年将尽。添泪酒：化用范仲淹《苏幕遮·碧云天》词中“酒入愁肠，化作相思泪”句意。天一涯：天各一方。指相隔遥远。

李致远，生平事迹不详。何梦华抄本《太平乐府》注云“江右（今江西）”至元中，客居溧阳（今属江苏）。存小令26首，套数4篇及杂剧《还牢未》。仇远相交甚密。据仇远写给李致远的《和李志远君深秀才》诗中说他“有才未遇政绩损”“亦固穷忘怨尤”“一瓢陋巷誓不出，孤云野鹤心自由”，可以看出他仕途不顺，一生郁郁不得志，但性格孤傲清高。《太和正音谱》列其为曲坛名家，评其曲曰：“如玉匣昆吾。”
