吾乡沈衢州，远致尺书在。
发书报文侯，有疽发于背。
我忧体肥人，此疾恐为害。
犹冀有良医，或倚以致瘥。
忧怀适浃旬，浙疏驰独快。
乃六月七日，死期特兼载。
哀哉此良牧，天夺真可怪。
念昔为永嘉，勤政略不懈。
豪民户先锄，淫鬼祠必坏。
抚下自有术，百里免凋瘵。
及此领郡符，先声过疆界。
穷谷争出迎，耄倪总罗拜。
君初闻再起，仕路厌行迈。
因察民情欢，下车始无悔。
爬梳积弊源，一旦决欲溃。
坐堂日孜孜，访问及细碎。
孰为狼所贪，孰为蚊所嘬。
犴狱满冤囚，亲手为破械。
去岁东海涯，光气作妖怪。
横飞类鬼车，数丈无首戴。
具疏即自劾，遂及弊事概。
谓此如许除，吾宁自引退。
有司格不行，当道有窒碍。
公退长太息，空负民所爱。
吾惟尽职业，庶偿为守债。
使民自按堵，守法勿就逮。
百家立为约，礼义相告戒。
民曰贤侯言，敢不各敬佩。
君终抱忧思，弊事卒吾败。
大者如盐铁，骨髓竭称贷。
彼力固已穷，吾体亦真惫。
遥遥走一使，求去乃至再。
知己总爱才，不使投匦内。
孰知今日事，俄有此变态。
凡君求归休，民辄叹无赖。
群情达铨曹，以及寮与寀。
今也魂茫茫，棺归只空廨。
岂惟民无依，失侣嗟我辈。
久为晚年期，几杖作乡会。
对酒乏清言，临事无善诲。
城西多旧游，山色愁晚对。
有穴未及临，泪尽继以慨。

（1435—1504）明苏州府长洲人，字原博，号匏庵。为诸生时，即有声望，遍读《左传》、《史记》、《汉书》及唐宋大家之文。成化八年会试、廷试皆第一，授修撰。侍孝宗东宫，进讲闲雅详明。孝宗即位，迁左庶子，预修《宪宗实录》，进少詹事兼侍读学士。丁忧后，入东阁，专典诰敕。进礼部尚书。卒谥文定。宽行履高洁，不为激矫，而自守以正。其诗深厚郁，自成一家。兼工书法。有《匏庵集》。
