彼丈夫兮我丈夫，何须相拜苦头胪。茆堂草榻堪栖息，大厦高楼焉用图。
有閒钱，当作福，募化他人空劳碌。空斋静坐可参禅，那定要钟鼓諠填。
名香宝烛，佛是教人觉，僧是教人和，除贪便是修多罗。
汝何为迷著色相，争竞奔波。东土二三，西天四七。
付授只一人，浑沦无字迹。又何曾百众千众，长篇短篇。
相似今日大棍乱打人，恶口乱骂人。问你度得几个，脱妄归真。
休誇成佛成祖，且将什么报君亲。孝弟忠信，礼义廉耻，八者不存。
莫问玄旨，古来勤俭是良图，三教圣人皆为己。

何南凤(1588-1651)，广东梅州兴宁市石马人，是佛教临济宗传人，又是才华横溢的诗人。字道见，家名觉从，号知非，又号雷山，又称半僧先生，初堂老人，牧原和尚，跛足道人。明代万历十六年（1588）生，清代顺治八年（1651）卒，终年六十五岁。
