画堂雅宴。一抹朱弦初入遍。慢捻轻笼。玉指纤纤嫩剥葱。
译文：华美的大厅里正举行高雅的宴集，乍弹朱弦刚刚进入弹奏第一章。轻轻地拢，慢慢地捻，纤长的细指犹如嫩葱。
注释：减字木兰花：原唐教坊曲，双调四十四字，与“木兰花”相比，前后片第一、三句各减三字，改为平仄韵互换格，每片两仄韵，两平韵。画堂雅宴：在彩绘厅堂举行歌舞宴集。朱弦：华美琵琶之弦。抹：琵琶弹奏手法，一抹即乍弹。入遍：初始弹奏第一章。遍，曲调中的一解，即一章。捻：搓。拢：抚。均为弹奏琵琶的手法。“玉指”句：谓琵琶女的手指细嫩如葱白。
拨头憁利。怨月愁花无限意。红粉轻盈。倚暖香檀曲未成。
译文：拨头抑郁低落，带着愁怨的花月自有无限意。舞女身姿轻灵美好，倚着檀槽弹不成一首曲子。
注释：拨头：舞蹈名。憁利，失意的样子。红粉轻盈：指舞女轻灵美好。红粉，妇女化妆用的胭脂与白粉。代指美女:香檀：即檀槽，弦乐器架弦之架。

欧阳修（1007－1072），字永叔，号醉翁，晚号“六一居士”。汉族，吉州永丰（今江西省永丰县）人，因吉州原属庐陵郡，以“庐陵欧阳修”自居。谥号文忠，世称欧阳文忠公。北宋政治家、文学家、史学家，与韩愈、柳宗元、王安石、苏洵、苏轼、苏辙、曾巩合称“唐宋八大家”。后人又将其与韩愈、柳宗元和苏轼合称“千古文章四大家”。
