江城歌吹风流，雨过平山，月满西楼。几许年华，三生醉梦，六月凉秋。按锦瑟佳人劝酒，卷朱帘齐按凉州。客去还留，云树萧萧，河汉悠悠。
译文：江城扬州充满风情的笙管笛萧声和歌声十分热烈而温柔，一阵小雨经过了宽敞的平山堂，清澈的月光笼罩西楼，已经如此一大把的年纪，如同是在三生石上陶然迷醉的梦境中，虽然是夏日的六月，却凉爽如秋，弹奏锦瑟的美人是在劝酒，卷起朱帘又出来一队舞女，踩踏着《凉州》舞曲的节奏。我已经乘船离开送别者还在殷勤挽留，只见两岸上的树影婆娑天空中银河悠悠。
注释：双调：宫调名。蟾宫曲：是元曲牌名，属北曲双调。也是昆曲里一支用途极广的北曲曲牌。江城,：即扬州。平山：指平山堂，在扬州蜀冈中峰大明寺西侧，欧阳修所建。几许：多少。三生：佛教理论，认为人有前生、今生、来生。锦瑟：弹拨乐器，五十弦，瑟上花纹如锦。凉州：唐代天宝乐曲名，多表现边塞题材。留：挽留。河汉：天河，也称银河。

卢挚（1242-1314），字处道，一字莘老；号疏斋，又号蒿翁。元代涿郡（今河北省涿县）人。至元5年(1268)进士，任过廉访使、翰林学士。诗文与刘因、姚燧齐名，世称“刘卢”、“姚卢”。与白朴、马致远、珠帘秀均有交往。散曲如今仅存小令。著有《疏斋集》（已佚）《文心选诀》《文章宗旨》,传世散曲一百二十首。有的写山林逸趣，有的写诗酒生活，而较多的是“怀古”，抒发对故国的怀念。今人有《卢疏斋集辑存》，《全元散曲》录存其小令。
