两汉：曹植
端坐苦愁思，揽衣起西游。
译文：安坐之时愁多心里忙，拖着衣裳来把西园逛。
注释：王粲：（177年—217），字仲宣。山阳郡高平县（今山东微山两城镇）人。东汉末年文学家，“建安七子”之一。作者友人之一。端坐：正坐。揽衣：披衣。西：指西园，在邺城城西。
树木发春华，清池激长流。
译文：树木逢春花儿已盛开，池水清澈激起波浪长。
注释：华：同“花”。清池：指邺城玄武池，亦即王粲诗中所言“曲池”。
中有孤鸳鸯，哀鸣求匹俦。
译文：池中仅有一只鸳鸯鸟，寻找同伴鸣声很哀伤。
注释：孤鸳鸯：喻王粲之孤独。匹俦：配偶，伴侣。这里指志同道合的朋友。
我愿执此鸟，惜哉无轻舟。
译文：我真想去把那鸟捉住，可惜无船难到水中央。
注释：执：捉拿，此处意为亲近。无轻舟：比喻作者没有权势，因而无法重用王粲。
欲归忘故道，顾望但怀愁。
译文：我要回去忘了来时路，不住回头步步结愁肠。
注释：故道：旧道，旧路。顾望：回头看。但：只。以上两句表现作者对友人的依依之情。
悲风鸣我侧，羲和逝不留。
译文：风儿凄厉在我身边叫，太阳无言滑向正西方。
注释：鸣：吹，指风声。羲和：神话传说中太阳的御者，这里代指时日。
重阴润万物，何惧泽不周？
译文：密云垂雨能够润万物，即使遗漏那又有何妨？
注释：重阴：密云，这里喻曹操。泽：恩泽，恩惠。周：普遍。
谁令君多念，自使怀百忧。
译文：是谁让你心细想得多，致使百般忧愁涌心上？
注释：念：思虑。百忧：忧愁很多。

曹植（192－232），字子建，沛国谯（今安徽省亳州市）人。三国曹魏著名文学家，建安文学代表人物。魏武帝曹操之子，魏文帝曹丕之弟，生前曾为陈王，去世后谥号“思”，因此又称陈思王。后人因他文学上的造诣而将他与曹操、曹丕合称为“三曹”，南朝宋文学家谢灵运更有“天下才有一石，曹子建独占八斗”的评价。王士祯尝论汉魏以来二千年间诗家堪称“仙才”者，曹植、李白、苏轼三人耳。
