西亭石竹新作芽，游丝已罥樱桃花。
注释：石竹：多年生草本植物，叶子对生似小竹，开红白或杂色小花，供观赏。游丝：春天在空中飘动的由蜘蛛等所吐的细丝。俗称“天丝。”罥：挂。
鸣鸠乳燕春欲晚，杖藜时复话田家。
注释：乳燕：雏燕。一说正在哺育雏燕的母燕。
田家父老向我说，“谷雨久过三月节。
春田龟坼苗不滋，犹赖立春三日雪。”
注释：龟坼：田地干裂。滋：长。
我闻此语重叹息，瘠土年年事耕织。
暮闻穷巷叱牛归，晓见公家催赋入。
注释：穷巷：陋巷。
去年旸雨幸无愆，稍稍三农获晏食。
注释：旸：日出，晴。愆：差错。三农：指平地、山地、泽地的农民。一说指春、夏、秋三个农时。晏食：安食。无旱无涝，故安。
春来谷赋复伤农，不见饥鸟啄余粒。
即今土亢不可耕，布谷飞飞朝暮鸣。
注释：土亢：土地干燥坚硬。
舂莩作饭藜作羹，吁嗟荆益方用兵。
注释：莩：麻的种子。藜：一种草，嫩叶可食。荆、益：荆州和益州。在今西湖、四川一带。方用兵：正在打仗。

王士祯（1634—1711），原名王士禛，字子真、贻上，号阮亭，又号渔洋山人，人称王渔洋，谥文简。新城（今山东桓台县）人，常自称济南人，清初杰出诗人、学者、文学家。博学好古，能鉴别书、画、鼎彝之属，精金石篆刻，诗为一代宗匠，与朱彝尊并称。书法高秀似晋人。康熙时继钱谦益而主盟诗坛。论诗创神韵说。早年诗作清丽澄淡，中年以后转为苍劲。擅长各体，尤工七绝。但未能摆脱明七子摹古馀习，时人诮之为“清秀李于麟”，然传其衣钵者不少。好为笔记，有《池北偶谈》、《古夫于亭杂录》、《香祖笔记》等，然辨驳议论多错愕、失当。
